The Shi’a Research Institute (SRI) is honoured to participate in the Islamic-Christian Dialogue Forum at the Al-Khoei Institute in Najaf al-Ashraf on February 4th, 2026.
Held in conjunction with the birth of Imam al-Mahdi (ajtf), the forum features an academic symposium on the concept of the Saviour and its role in fostering hope and coexistence. During the second session, Dr. Vinay Khetia will present his paper, “Human Dignity as a Cornerstone of Interreligious Dialogue,” exploring how shared values of justice and reform can strengthen global interfaith engagement.
This event was well attended by representatives from the Vatican, as well as scholars from the Universities of Mosul, Baghdad, and Kufa. Sunnis, Shi’as, and Christians came together to strengthen understanding and promoting peaceful coexistence.
