On May 9, 2026, Dr. Vinay Khetia, Academic Director of the Shiʿa Research Institute, participated in the Eleventh Annual Conference on Shiʿi Studies at The Islamic College (ICAS) in London.
As part of Panel 3: Narrative Studies, Dr. Khetia presented his paper, “The Devotional Confessions of an Infallible Imam: A Study of Safavid-era Duʿā Commentary.” His presentation explored dimensions of Shiʿi devotional and intellectual traditions, contributing to the conference’s special theme: Shiʿism and the Study of the Qur’an.
