On May 12th and 13th, SRI participated in the Shi’i Studies Annual Symposium, conducted by the University of Chicago.
The subject of the symposium was: But by the love you bear my kin’: Devotion (walāya) and Shiʿi Islam.
It featured two days of talks and panels on various topics such as community identity, Walaya in varous contexts, and much more. The presentations were conducted by various academics from around the world. Feel free to review the detailed agenda at this link.
