Student Meet & Greet

We were delighted to co-host University of Toronto students with the TMA student group, at the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year.

The evening opened with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by Dr. Vinay Khetia’s introduction to SRI and a thoughtful overview of religious life on campus.

TMA’s president and vice president then shared their mission and plans for the year ahead, setting an inspiring tone for what’s to come. After a delicious dinner, students jumped into a lively Jeopardy-style competition that brought everyone together.

We closed the night in congregation with Salat al-Maghribayn (Jama’ah), led by Dr. Khetia. Grateful for the hospitality, the energy, and the meaningful conversations—looking forward to more collaborations that serve students and the campus community.
